Cape Cod Mariner
The Henry Crocker Kittredge Maritime History Collection of the Sturgis Library originated in 1972. In that year, Gertrude Kittredge Eaton, widow of Henry Crocker Kittredge, presented to the Library her late husband's private collection of books and historical documents related to Cape Cod's seafaring heritage. The Cape Cod Mariner : The Journal of the Kittredge Maritime Research Center was published from Spring of 1988 to Spring of 1995.
The Mariner attempted to highlight the unique resources of the Kitttredge Collection, and during its publication it was distributed to researchers, scholars, and maritime history buffs across the country.
