This pre-printed family record book of early 20th century era contains many family lines, with indications that they are branches of the Mason family . Some lines claim lineage going back to William the Conqueror. One note indicates the volume is a gift of Herbert McKinney, but no Sturgis Library records remain of the transaction. The initails AOM are written on the cover and may refer to Aaron Mason, a Revolutionary War soldier, and there is a "M" written on the spine, indicating that this volume was originally one of a series.
