My Birdseed Brings All The Birds to the Yard: Attracting Native Birds on Cape Cod

May 14 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

What does it takes to attract your favorite backyard birds? Stephanie Ellis, Executive Director of Wild Care, a  nonprofit wildlife hospital dedicated to the    rescue and release of injured and orphaned wildlife, will tell you.  From native plants, to nest boxes, to birdseed, Stephanie will provide info for attracting a variety of birds to your yard throughout the year. She’ll also cover “what to do” if you find a baby bird, or if a bird strikes your window, and will provide tips on how we can better co-exist with our feathered  neighbors. Stephanie will also bring special guest, “Nickerson” Wild Care’s educational Eastern Screech Owl.

Free to the public. Registration is appreciated! Email sturgisreference@comcast.net, call 508-362-6636, or fill out the form bellow.
