Hezekiah Rogers was a yeoman, and Thomas Robbins was a mariner. Rogers was the administrator for the estate of Levi Rogers, deceased, by order of the Court of Common Pleas. Ordered to sell the property for payment of Levi Rogers' debts. The land lay east of widow Ruth Rogers' dwelling house, bounded by medow, a bank and Thomas Rogers' land. Rights were reserved to the heirs of Ruth Rogers to pass and repass over the land. Levi died seized of the premises, and the public sale was held at Ruth Roger's, his widow's home. A public notice was published.
