  • Notes : The land was bounded by the Mill Pond, and land owned by Josiah Sparrow, John Sparrow field, and Joshua Cole. The land is held in partnership with Joshua Crosby, Abiel Crosby, and the heirs of James Gould. Joseph Crosby warranted and defended any right that may be brought against said property by Sollomon Gould. The document is written that Crosby sells 1/4 of the land described by the above bounds, of about 12 acres. It is not clear whether the 1/4 of the land is 12 acres, or if it means he is selling 1/4 of 12 acres or 3 acres. Needs further research.
