Timothy Doane was a yeoman and Asa Hopkins was a mariner. The land was purchased by Timothy Doane from Isaiah Doane. They agreed that if Hopkins wished to fence the premises off, he shall make all the fence, and Doane shall have one half of the fence, allowing each of them the right of passing and repassing across each others land with cart and team where there would be the least damage to the shore.
