Deed Notes
The land was northeast of the dwelling house of widow Dorcas Higgins, and joins Eliakim Higgins' farm. The property had been purchased by Phebe Arey's father, Thomas Arey, of Shubal Mayo. In partnership with the heirs of Thomas Arey, and has been "sit? of to me." On verso of deed, it is marked "Paid." A pencil note was made in 1893 by "J.P." that read "this piece of land was sold to Isaiah Linnil ?, it laid south of Higgins farm and butted the land L. .... Handwriting faint and not readable.
