Formerly owned by William Goodwin of Plymouth, and Daniel Johnson of Orleans. Also with one half of 2 acres of land adjacent the salt works on the south side, and one half of the land on which the salt works stand, with a way to and around the same; one half of the salt house, and 1 undivided half of all the privileges thereunto belonging. Ms. Goodwin also writes she is "lawfully seized in fee of the premises." Mr. Hopkins is a farmer. Deed is annotated on the verso, "Jane F. Goodwin to Asa Hopkins "Paid"
